| Went to London today - it was amazing, though I'm very tired now.
- Buckingham Palace
- Walk through the Parks
- National Gallery
- Harry Potter 5 Premiere (not the film, but seeing all the celebs/hype!)
- Going to see Chicago on stage in London
- Wandering around the streets of London just for kicks
Sweet. It was a good day.

| Sighting #3. Pretty sure he lives down the street from me...
Tomorrow is my day off! London here I come!

| Peace is: Sitting in comfy chairs on the second floor of
Starbucks on Cornmarket with four staff members and no children.

| Kinghorn sighting #2 today, complete with baby seat on back of bike. He must live basically next door to me.

| The students are now here and the longest day (for them and us) has
just finished. I have 12 students, including 5 international
students - 2 from Spain, 2 from Puerto Rico, and 1 from Taiwan.
Sweet. So far everything has been going okay and today they
have their first classes.
Yesterday we were able to take one of the bus tours on the red tourist
busses with the open tops. I was probably more excited about it than
anyone, but that's normal. They did an excellent job, although
they were playing to a rough audience (jet lagged teenagers).
OXFORD FRIENDS: If any of you have good ideas about good
restaurants/cafes/sandwich places to bring 13 people in the city of
Oxford (esp. city center and up near north parade or summertown) please
let me know.
I walked past Wycliffe for the first time yesterday. It was a
strange moment. It's weird being here without SCIO friends, but
still fun.
Oh, I also tried to look at the filming sites for the Golden
Compass. They are set up all around Radcliffe Square with tons of
banks of lights hoisted on cranes, etc. It's crazy. I had
no idea of all the equipment needed to film a few short "night"
scenes. hmm.. I can't wait for that film to come out.
Sadly, most of the staff/students here have not heard of it.
